The Interruption
We sit around, happily talking and joking and laughing. A melodious tune interrupts us.
One of our number turns to look at the source of the music, a phone. "Just a minute," he says and puts it up to his ear.
There is a moment of silence, then he places it down.
"Whoops, that was my alarm."
